


To rotate the text box, click the rotation handle, and then drag the text box to the degree of rotation that you want.

To move the text box, position the cursor on the border of the text box so that it changes to a four-headed arrow, and then drag the text box to the location that you want. On the chart, click the text box that you want to move or resize. When you finish typing, press esc to cancel editing mode, or click anywhere outside of the text box. To start a new line in the text box, press Enter. In the text box, type the text that you want. In the chart, click where you want to start a corner of the text box, and then drag until the text box is the size that you want. On the Format tab, click Insert Shapes, and then click the Text Box icon. Press the Del or Backspace on the keyboard to remove the text box from the spreadsheet.Click the chart to which you want to add a text box.Press and hold the left mouse button on the circle, then drag the mouse cursor in the desired direction to increase or decrease the size of the text box.Place your mouse cursor over one of the circles on the outer edge or corner of the text box, so the cursor changes to a double-sided arrow.When selected, there are small circles on each corner and in the middle of each side of the text box. Find the text box and click the outer edge to select it.You can then start typing the text that you want displayed in the text box. When you release the mouse button, Excel places the insertion point in the upper-left corner of the box. Open the Excel spreadsheet containing the text box. To create a text box, click the Text Box button on the Drawing toolbar and then drag the mouse pointer to draw the outline of the box.Simply type the text in the window and click OK: The text box will be added to the point. The further you drag the mouse, the larger the text box that is created. Select the QI Macros Chart menu and select Add Text to Point: A window will open with an input area for the text you want to add. This will activate the formula bar (indicated by a blinking cursor in the formula bar). With the Text Box still selected, press the F2 key. Press and hold the left mouse button, then drag the mouse down and to the right to "draw" the text box. Insert a text box in Excel from the Insert tab by selecting Text, Text Box, and then use your mouse to drag to a region on your worksheet.

Move the mouse cursor to where you want the text box to be located.On the Insert tab, click the Text option on the far right side, and select the Text Box option.
